First Spring Color!

This afternoon I went out in the backyard to blow bubbles for the kids. I don't like to do bubbles in the house, too many spills. Besides, we've been in the high 60's-low 70's all week, might as well go outside and enjoy the warm weather. I looked over at the flowerbed and noticed something purple. It was the crocus', they were blooming!

We have crocus in our front yard. (In the grass). I figured that if they were blooming in the backyard there was a good chance they might be blooming in the front. I walked out the front door with the camera just in case. There wasn't any crocus blooming but there were two daffodils that were!

It won't be long before the yellow and red tulips will start blooming too. They're already starting to come out of the ground. Oh, and in case I forget to mention it, we got rain last night. Only a little bit, but still, any little bit counts when you're in the desert.
